Good afternoon and a warm welcome to 'Happy Hounds Dog Training Club, based in Dover Kent. My website gives you an introduction to the services, and opportunity's that 'Happy Hounds' offers you and your canine friend.
Here at 'Happy Hounds' my aim is to help you embark on that cherished relationship between yourselves and your canine companion. I will help give advise on feeding, what lead and collar and toys to use, and point you in the right direction with any other questions or worries that you may have.
All our classes are accredited in support of the Kennel Club Good Dog Citizens Award Scheme. 'Happy Hounds' also offers in addition to basic obedience, the chance for those that are keen and interested in advance obedience, this class offers you the chance to learn scent, sendaway, distance control etc.
'Happy Hounds' welcomes new members with all breeds, whether completely new dog owners or experienced handlers. Not all puppies have a good start in life and many end up in rescue centers such as the Dogs Trust, RSPCA etc. 'Happy Hounds' does not exclude any dog whether it is a rescue or slightly older, all dogs are eligible to enter our training classes.
Every dog learns through instincts, repetition, conditioning, understanding, sympathy, reward and acquired behaviour. At 'Happy Hounds' my aim is to help you train your dog with understanding, fun, kind and motivated training.
'Happy Hounds' is a new and exciting Kennel Club registered purpose built dog training club based in Dover Kent. The hall is 78 feet long and 30 feet wide. Offering a non slip floor.
We offer a full weekly schedule of affordable dog training classes. Classes to include puppy classes, fun motivated obedience classes, advance obedience, the very popular Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme to include Puppy Assessment, Bronze, Silver and Gold tests.
Denise is also proud to offer at the new Dover hall indoor fun agility. Offering you the chance to participate in a 6 week pre agility class to those that have never done agility before. For those that would like to carry on after the 6 weeks there are weekly agility classes available.
ABOUT DENISE COYLE
Owner and trainer Denise Coyle has been training, working, and judging obedience at open and champion show level for many years now. One of her success is her daughter winning at CRUFTS in one of the YKC classes with her rescue collie X Domino.
Denise owns a variety of different breeds of dogs German Shepherds, Collies, Collie X, Tibetan Spaniel, Wheaten Terrier, Japanese Spitz most of these are rescues. Denise also works on a private estate as Head Girl to fifteen rescue Beagles, helping with day to day running of the kennels, and with the re homing programme.
Denise is a great believer that all training should be fun, kind and motivated, dogs learn through there instincts, repetition, conditioning, reward and understanding. All dogs are different, some more confident than others, but one thing Denise is excellent at is allowing the dog to learn at its own pace, no matter how long this might take. "I am extremely lucky to be able to do a job that i really love and have made some very good friends, (doggy and human) along the way"!!!
